WONDERFUL LOCAL PHARMACY. HAD TO STOP FOR A PRESCRIPTION WHEN WE WERE UP NORTH VISITING MY FATHER. PHARMACY WAS FAST AND FRIENDLY. NO WAITING. ADORABLE GIFTS AND LOCAL ITEMS. THE GIRL AT THE CHECKOUT WAS ALSO PLEASANT, FRIENDLY AND ENGAGES IN CONVERSATION WITH US. THE ONLY DOWNFALL IS THEY ARE NOT OPEN SUNDAYS OR EVENINGS.

EVEN THOUGH LAND O’ LAKES IS A SMALL TOWN. THIS PHARMACY HAS ALL THE BASES COVERED. I APPRECIATE THEIR PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE AND GREAT ADVICE.

Hi I’m Shirley Thompson. I graduated from UW Madison School of Pharmacy. My husband, Larry, of almost 30 years and I have lived and raised a family in the beautiful northwoods of Wisconsin. We have two grown children. Abby, our daughter has chosen to stay in northern Wisconsin and is an elementary school teacher. Our son, Steven is a lawyer at a firm in Stevens Point.
I have been the manager of the Land O’ Lakes Pharmacy for over 35 years. We have been a Home Town Pharmacy almost a year. I really enjoy my job. My favorite part of working is talking to all of my regular customers and meeting new ones. Northern Wisconsin is a big tourist destination especially in the summer. My days at work fly by and I love my job as much today as I did when I first started.
