I’m Jon Wilson, pharmacist and partner-owner of Hometown Pharmacy in Cuba City. Shortly after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1990, I became the managing pharmacist in one of the busiest chain pharmacies in Wisconsin. Wanting to return to the practice of pharmacy as healthcare, I decided to leave the hectic, impersonal setting of a large chain pharmacy and began work at a small independent store. I partnered with Hometown Pharmacy in 2014 and opened a pharmacy in Cuba City where I have been able to expand a health and wellness approach to pharmacy. One of my goals as a pharmacist is to help people get off of medications. I enjoy learning about new and innovative ways to improve patient healthcare, including educating myself about disease prevention, supplementation, and overall health and wellness.
