Beaver Dam Hometown Pharmacy is located right inside another locally owned business, Rechek’s Food Pride. It’s the perfect location because the driving principle behind transforming our pharmacy into a wellness center is that Food is Medicine! We offer diabetes prevention classes, diabetes education, and functional medicine consults that utilize this idea that we are either getting poisoned by our food or curing our bodies with food. Looking for the root cause of disease is more important than just covering up symptoms with medications.
We are also problem solvers. We offer free delivery for clients that are unable to come to the pharmacy and medication synchronization to minimize unnecessary trips to the pharmacy. Please stop in to check out our amazing offerings of high quality supplements and CBD products to help fill in the gaps where nutrition has missed.

Hi, I’m Erin Williams. I moved from Iowa to Wisconsin in 2004 to pursue my pharmacy education. My main supporters are my husband and our three daughters. During and after attending the UW School of Pharmacy, I worked at Marshland Pharmacy in Mayville, Horicon, and Beaver Dam as a pharmacy technician and then as a pharmacist. After spending time at a big-box pharmacy, I realized independent community pharmacy was my passion. I’m excited to be back in Mayville serving patients both past and new as the partner pharmacist at Hometown Pharmacy. I’ve recently been learning about functional medicine and nutrition as ways to improve my family and patients’ overall health and wellness, naturally. I’m excited about the holistic approach Hometown Pharmacy is taking with its patients. Since the opening of Hometown Pharmacy in Mayville, I have thoroughly enjoyed reconnecting with the Mayville community as well as developing many new relationships.
When not at the pharmacy or learning about nutrition, I spend time at the Beaver Dam Family Center Ice Rink, where my daughters skate and I serve on the Swan City Ice Skater’s board of directors. With my husband, Alan, I enjoys exploring new places and spending time outdoors. As a means of relaxation, I spend time scrapbooking and paper crafting.
